Factory Rewards® Frequently Asked Questions

No. Your points do not expire. However, some of the rewards you earn do expire.

• The $5 Reward, which is earned once you’ve accumulated 500, expires 90 days after we issue your reward.
• The $3 Reward you earn by registering your account expires 90 days after we issue your reward.

You earn 10 points for every dollar spent on made-to-order smoothies and juices at participating Smoothie Factory locations. Points are not earned on purchases of item such as, but not limited, nutritional supplements, grab-and-go items, bottled beverages, and apparel items.

Accumulated points are automatically converted to rewards, so for instance, when you accumulate the first 500 points, a $5 Reward will be placed in your Factory Rewards account.  The only way to redeem rewards that you have earned is by activating and registering your Factory Rewards account, and presenting your Factory Rewards card or account number at the time of purchase. Until you register your Factory Rewards account, you will not be able to redeem your rewards. You will, however, continue to accumulate points for qualified purchases at participating Smoothie Factory locations if you present your Factory Rewards card or account number at the time of purchase.

To ensure that you do not miss out on exclusive offers or emails from your local Smoothie Factory location, make sure that when registering, you have favorited a store and opted in to receive these exclusive offers.

Yes. Whether or not you activate and register your Factory Rewards card, you can load or reload it as a prepaid/stored value card (in-store only). And, regardless of the dollar value on your Factory Rewards card, you’ll earn points every time you make a qualified purchase at a participating Smoothie Factory location as long as you present your Factory Rewards card or account number at the time of purchase. Note, you cannot currently add value if you have chosen a cardless account. Also, you will not earn points for the dollar value that you load onto your Factory Rewards card but you will earn points when you use those dollars on qualified purchases at a participating Smoothie Factory location and present your Factory Rewards card or account number. For example, if you load $20 onto your Factory Rewards card, you will not earn any additional points for doing that; however, when you use $10 of that $20 to buy made-to-order smoothies and juices at a participating Smoothie Factory location, you’ll earn 100 points!

There are a variety of easy ways to join!

Cardless Membership:

• You can join Factory Rewards by registering online or downloading the Smoothie Factory app.
• Once registered, you can earn points and redeem any earned reward by providing your account number at a participating Smoothie Factory location.

For a physical card:

• Pick up a Factory Rewards card at any participating Smoothie Factory location.
• Go online and register your Factory Rewards card. After you have registered your card, start earning points for all your qualified purchases. Don’t forget to must present your Factory Rewards card or account number at the time of purchase to earn your points and/or redeem rewards.

If you want a physical card, visit your closest participating Smoothie Factory location and ask for a Factory Rewards card. Activate your new card online and then merge your two accounts (instructions below).

No. Earned $3 or $5 Rewards are one-time use rewards that can only be used in a single transaction up to $3 or $5 in value. So if you purchase a $2 item, you can redeem your $3 Reward and pay nothing. No change will be given and there is no remainder to be placed on the card or in your rewards account. If you had purchased a smoothie for a total of $7, then you could redeem your $5 Reward and only pay $2 (plus applicable taxes) and you would also earn 20 points for that transaction!

No. Rewards cannot be combined with any other offers. For example, if you have a buy one get one free (BOGO) coupon and a $5 Reward and you purchase two smoothies each with a cost of $7, you can either choose to use your BOGO coupon and pay $7 (plus applicable taxes) or use your $5 Reward and pay $9 (plus applicable taxes) for the remaining cost.

No. Points are earned only on qualified purchases and actual dollars tendered. For example, if you bought a smoothie (that cost $7 and you redeem a $1 off coupon and present your rewards card at the time of purchase, you would earn 60 points (or 10 points X $6). If you bought a smoothie (that cost $7) and you redeemed your $5 Reward toward the purchase, then you would earn 20 points (or 10 points X $2). Qualified purchases are determined by Smoothie Factory in its sole discretion and may be changed without notice. Also points are not earned on the sales tax portion of qualified purchases.

No. You cannot receive points for purchasing a Smoothie Factory gift card. However, the gift card recipient will earn points when he/she uses the gift card for qualified purchase at a participating Smoothie Factory location when they register their Factory Rewards account. Remember, each Smoothie Factory gift card is both a rewards card and a prepaid/stored value card. The gift card recipient must present their rewards/gift card or account number at the time of purchase to earn your points and/or redeem rewards.

No. You cannot use rewards to purchase Smoothie Factory gift cards.

Yes! Since a Smoothie Factory gift card doubles as a rewards card, all they need to do is register their card online.

If you only want to carry one card, you can log into your account and merge the two accounts (see merging instructions below).

Yes, by merging your accounts. Start by logging in to your account. Next to your card number, click on the plus sign and input your other card number. Once you add the new card, it will show up in your account summary. Select the new card you just added and under manage card select merge card and confirm. You will now be able to use both or either accounts to earn points for the same account.

You can check your gift card balance by logging into your account. If your card is not registered, you can still check your balance online.

Yes. Simply provide your card number or account number at the time of purchase.

Yes. Simply obtain a new card and merge the two accounts (see above instructions).

Yes. Simply fill out a contact us form and be sure to include your Factory Rewards account number.
